Target Audience

The target audience for this conference is women in hematology/oncology careers seeking professional networking and science-based insights into the hematology/oncology landscape.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe career development techniques and clinical science skills
  • Foster a team-based collaboration to bridge the academic-community gap among women hematologists/oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Evaluate recent therapeutic advancements for the treatment of solid and hematologic malignancies including their incorporation into clinical practice
  • Discuss drug class-specific adverse events and supportive care issues that may occur with current cancer therapies in order to select evidence-based management strategies
